Today we’re reviewing Audio Shield for the HTC Vive.
There are few beat/music style games out in the wild and Audio Shield was one of the first for VR. Even though it’s been out since April 5th of 2016, our team had not reviewed it yet, so we thought it was time.
Heart Rate: 125BBM

Today’s a special day, you’re going to get to see me running along a mountain path, collecting bananas. I know right! BANANAS.
I am going to ask a favour though, we’ve been having a pretty big debate internally here at achieVRfit. Should we have bananas or diamonds? So please weigh in with your thoughts.
Talking about weighing in, let’s take a look at my scale for the week.
As you can see I made some progress this week. 2 lbs. I really did try and make sure I put the time in with achieVRfit and eating well. Here’s a plug for Panera, the Southwest Chicken Tortilla broth bowl, is super filling, tasty and low in calories.
Again though it is amazing how you crave those comfort processed foods. Yet I can see a real difference when they are avoided. Love to hear what people do to avoid those foods.
Total loss to date is 7bs in 5 weeks? Seems like a good steady rate.
Fitbit stats for last week:
Average Hours of Sleep: 5 Hours 36 minutes (Yikes)
See you next week!
Big screen cinema in the previous version is already awesome. They have an update that makes it better and entertaining, Here is a clean list of the update’s highlights:
This Big Screen Huge Cinema is something that will make you feel that you were never alone. If you feel like watching a movie and you are just alone at home, get your VR and start to get someone in the network to watch same movie online or get a good one on your computer hard drive.
When you hear 4D it is something advanced, very fine and detailed and more entertaining. You can do more anything in 4D providing you the shapes and understanding how this one is happening. Aside from entertainment you will be educated with different ideas and anything about physics.
I tried out Virtual Sports today, you can see the video below. It’s a great game, but you won’t work up a sweat in it.
The mechanics are great, the feel is great, and if you have ever wanted a ping pong table or tennis court, look no further.
In the review, you’ll see I start in career mode playing a game of ping pong, but you can play online or play in practice mode. All modes are fun and I found them almost a little zen like. Sort of like playing tennis on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Don’t forget to share/tweet our post, we’re always looking for health or fitness apps to review, so let us know if there’s something you want to see.
Micro Cosmic Worlds is a video game where you will experience everything as a microorganism. This can teach children science and mathematics where they can explore new things and learn from it.

The company is including features like Cloud Object Recognition, Remote Assistance, Multiplayer Interaction, and 3D Content Manager, so developers can scan, upload, and edit 3D content through the platform.
Augmented Empire was known to be a great game, the studio brought in the voice talents of Kate Mulgrew (Orange is the New Black, Star Trek Voyager); Doug Cockle (The Witcher Series); Garrick Hagon (Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, Horizon: Zero Dawn) and Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Paul). The game has a lot to offer and more adventures to take. Certain levels have fixed selections for the storyline.

So here we are on month in! It’s hard to believe.
I have to say, I’ve learned a lot, for instance, weighing yourself daily can be a little frustrating and motivating at the same time. You can swing a full two pounds in a day, so weighing in at the same time of day is really important. Salt seems to have a big impact, if I go to a movie and have popcorn, yet keep my calories under control, all that sodium seems to dump some temporary weight on me. It drops away in a day but boy can it surprise you.
Here’s my scale this week:
You can see it’s down about another pound. So it is slow going but at least steady.
The up side is working out is a little easier, and 30 minutes goes by pretty quick in achieVRfit.
Here are my Fitbit stats for the week.
Sleep: 6 hours 28 minutes average
See you guys next week.

A STAR WARS HOTEL!!!! Yes, you heard it right! The force is really strong on this one! How would you see yourself entertained and enjoy a single storyline for yourself? This is something to look forward to. It is an awesome idea of Disney, no further details yet but just dropped this bombshell in the middle of its D23 expo down in Los Angeles. People are going crazy about it and even commented of how to do a pre-booking! Quite funny but this is very interesting!

Lila’s Tale doesn’t require you to use your hand during the game. It is a Gaze game. You just gaze at the puzzle and it will move. By finishing the puzzle you damage the enemy. There will be no battle between you and the enemy. Whenever the enemy attacks, you have to go ahead and solve a puzzle quickly! It will help Lila to finish up the enemy faster by giving a big damage. Only a demo is available at the moment, but the full game is slated for a third-quarter release later this year for the Samsung Gear VR. This is a story of a sister who mysteriously lost his brother. She will be having a journey with the player that will help her with the enemies and finish up the game.
